BuDS Invited to Participate with Local Advisory Board

BuDS is pleased to announce that it has secured representation on Thames Valley Police’s Independent Advisory Group. We will use this opportunity to represent the interests of disabled people in Bucks, particularly with regard to the abuse or assault of disabled people because of their disability. Currentlly this is a rising trend and this opportunity is particularly welcome.

It's precisely when times are dark that people need light and fun in their lives! We want disabled people to be able to access and enjoy the Diamond Jubilee and Olympic & Paralympics Games celebrations in Bucks this summer as equals alongside people without disabilites, and for disability itself to be seen positively.

Krista Crockford Joins BuDS!

Welcome to Krista Crockford, BuDS’ new administrator
Krista Crockford has joined BuDS as Administrator, covering Katie Doughty’s maternity leave. Krista has been with BuDS as a volunteer for some months, working on the CIC and 2012 projects, and before that was a volunteer with The Clare Foundation. Krista is mum to 2 disabled teenage children and has strong business experience as both a consultant and senior manager.
