Pro Tem Treasurer
Having worked in Local Government for over 23 years, I took early retirement in 2008 on ill health grounds. I have a Progressive Lung Disease which limits mobility and has left me on 24-hour oxygen therapy. I now want to help others and put something back into the community whilst I still can, and therefore decided to offer my finance and practical skills to BuDS. I also help run local "Breathe Easy" support groups for people with Breathing difficulties.

I have a 6 year old daughter and enjoy being able to limit my activities to school hours so that I am there for her when she needs me. I understand mobility problems and the issues that they can raise and will hopefully be able to put forward the viewpoint of the disabled to provide us with a better environment to live in.
