We are holding an open meeting for all disabled people and carers. Come along to hear our guest speakers, meet other disabled people and carers, and find out more about BuDS.
Ian Hargreaves, editor of the Disability Rights Handbook and one of the UK's leading experts on disabilty benefits, will be speaking about the government's changes to the benefits system.
Also speaking will be Martin McElhatton, Chief Executive of Wheelpower and former Paralympic athlete. He will talk about recent developments in British wheelchair sport and how Stoke Mandeville will be involved as the 2012 Paralympic Games approach.
Please join us, free of charge, at 11 am on 25 November 2010 at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Guttman Road, Aylesbury, HP21 9PP. The BuDS AGM will be held at 1pm. The agenda and papers are available.
